Join Journey & Thingz at the third annual Juneteenth with the Committed Knitters celebration for a special outdoor jewelry-making experience that honors creativity, community, and self-expression.
As we gather to commemorate Juneteenth and celebrate Black freedom, resilience, and culture, participants are invited to create a custom bracelet or pair of earrings using a colorful selection of gemstones, glass beads, letter beads, charms, and specialty materials. Whether you are creating a piece for yourself or as a gift, this hands-on activity offers an opportunity to slow down, connect, and make something meaningful.
Our rotating jewelry-making station is designed for makers of all ages and experience levels. Simply choose your beads, take a seat, and create a one-of-a-kind piece while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the celebration.
The event also features knitting, crochet, community crafting, complimentary refreshments, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with fellow makers throughout the day.
